With waterproof, shockproof, crushproof, coldproof and dustproof design, along with its wide-angle 5X internal zoom lens, HD video capabilities and inventive Digital Microscope mode with LED lens lighting, the WG-10 can handle all your outdoor adventures.
- The WG-10 can be used underwater continuously for up to 2 hours at a depth of up to 10m. Its crushproof construction can withstand weights up to 100 KGF (kilogram-force) and shockproof design protects it against drops of 1.5m. It also offers remarkable dustproof performance to protect the camera from dry, dusty environments and exceptional cold-resistant performance for reliable operation at temperatures as low as –10°C
- Combining a macro shooting capability from as close as 1cm away with its 5 LED Macro Lighting and unique Macro Stand, the Digital Microscope mode delivers magnified sharp pictures of even the smallest subjects, like insects, or the veins of a leaf.
- A 14 megapixel CCD sensor and state-of-the-art image processing engine produces beautiful, high-resolution prints with fine details, even when enlarged to poster sizes.
- 5X wide angle internal optical zoom lens, covering an angle of view equivalent to approximately 28 to 140 mm in 35 mm format is ideal for shooting a broad spectrum of subjects, from landscapes to indoor, portrait or group photos.
- The large 2.7 inch, 230,000 dot LCD screen features a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
A special AR (Anti-Reflection) coating cuts the glare of external light and minimizes reflections. - Pixel Track Shake Reduction (SR) ensures sharp images in any lighting condition, without adding high ISO noise. Digital SR and Movie SR are also available.
- High-speed Face Detection AF & AE detects up to 32 faces. Smile Capture, Blink Detection, Self-Portrait Assist & Pet Detection available.
- Capture beautiful, flawless movie clips at 16:9 high-definition TV proportions (1280 x 720 pixels) at a frame rate of 30 frames per second and offers a variety of editing functions. The WG-10 also has an HDMI micro terminal for audio/video signal output.
- Capture images remotely with infrared remote control capabilities (using optional PENTAX remote controller).
